Amagi Aria Airport Transit Hotel

Beautiful waterfront property, half an hour travel from airport, in a safe residential area, 5 minutes walk from the main road. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable, with a pool and garden facing the backwater. Hotel provides free pick up from airport, and easy to get a Uber to return airport, within rupees 1000.. Its a great place to take a break during transit in Colombo . Staffs are helpful, food is satisfactory, with some Srilankan cuisine, but on costlier side compared to Colombo standard. I had an early check in at 6am, had to pay extra, again had to request to include complementary breakfast, though I was solo, and having 2 breakfast included in my booking. Met their GM Mr Thushar, a helpful gentleman, careful in keeping high standards for the property.

My father and I had a delightful time during our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite room. The suite itself was flawless, boasting stunning views of the sunset and lagoon, along with impeccable cleanliness and all the amenities we could ask for. The pool was a fantastic addition that we thoroughly enjoyed. Despite booking last-minute, I was able to secure a spa appointment. Sofia, the therapist, provided an outstanding facial and head massage. Menaka provided us with exceptional service, especially with arranging a taxi to the airport. Good mix of Western and Srilankan food, I and my wife loved the Srilankan food!! The resort faces the Negombo lagoon and we took a motorboat ride with Deva to the wetlands, it was very peaceful and tranquil with lots of birds, monkeys and also one moniter lizard. The peace and quiet of this resort takes away all the tension, and helps me relax and plan.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The service at the Restaurant was excellent. In the midst of all there was one soul who really, from her heart, took care of us, from day one to the end. That's Anousha F&B Manager, genuine from her heart. Also thanks for the food, Chef. Anousha is an asset. I have no hesitation in recommending her. She did a great job.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Amagi Aria Hotel in Negombo, and I must say it was an excellent experience! One of the standout features of the hotel was the spacious and clean room, which made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The delicious breakfast served at the hotel was also a highlight, and I looked forward to it every morning. However, what really made my stay special was the stunning view from my room. It was absolutely breathtaking and truly enhanced the overall experience of staying at the hotel. As a seafood lover, I was also delighted to discover that the Moya Seafood restaurant at the hotel was the best place in Negombo to enjoy fresh and export-quality seafood. The view from the restaurant was equally impressive and added to the already fantastic dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Amagi Aria Hotel for anyone visiting Negombo. The combination of spacious and clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and stunning views make it an excellent choice for any traveler. And if you love seafood, you absolutely cannot miss dining at the Moya Seafood restaurant!
